New INFINITAS Alpha-Testing stage opens

Today, on the 16th of October at 12AM local time, Konami opened signups for the next round of Alpha-Testing of their new home version of Beatmania IIDX called INFINITAS. Just over a month after the surprise shotgun-like testing period in early September, eastern and western players alike are getting another chance to try out the official PC version of the game for themselves. However, this time, the signup period for participation seems to be longer – according to the website, it’ll last until mid-day on the 19th, giving interested players a whole weekend’s chance to sign up for the game. In the case that more than 5000 people apply (which seems likely, given the reaction from western fans alone), there’ll also be a lottery to determine who gets to play in this round of Alpha Testing and who doesn’t.

If you want to sign up, you’ll need an eAgate account, which you an register here. Afterwards, simply go to the INFINITAS page and click the big button in the middle to start the signup process. It’ll ask you for a few of your PC specs, like your model number, your processor, your graphics card, and so on, so keep those handy if you don’t know them by heart.
