Just a few hours after DAO revealed his dedicated SOUND VOLTEX real edition controller, priced at 399$, Rainbow Controller Japan announced on Twitter that they are currently working on a controller themselves, titled “Rainbow Turbocharger”. An interesting little detail is that they claim it to be a “collaboration model” between them and the KSHOOTMANIA developers. What exactly that entails is unclear as of yet. KSHOOTMANIA has been the only SOUND VOLTEX emulator for the PC since SDVX came out in 2012. You can read the full press release on their website (in japanese) here.
